Fall Out Boy
Live in Singapore
America’s Suitehearts Fall Out Boy will be back to rock the Singapore Indoor Stadium on February 10th 2009, touring behind their latest album, “Folie à Deux” (literally, “a madness shared by two”). Ticket sales will coincide with the worldwide album launch on December 16th.
Midas Promotions have set the prices of all tickets for Fall Out Boy’s concert under $100. In addition, Midas Promotions will give away copies of the band’s brand new album to early bird buyers, for the top-tier tickets. Tickets and albums are expected to move fast so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.
“This is a first ever for Singapore, if not the world and is part of Midas’s efforts to help people deal with the economic downturn. It is our way of giving something back,” says Michael Hosking, Managing Director of Midas Promotions.
Fall Out Boy are Patrick Stump (Vocals and Guitar), Peter Wentz (Bassist), Andrew Hurley (Drummer) and Joseph Trohman (Guitarist).
Formed in 2001 in the suburbs of Chicago, the band achieved mainstream success with their first record “Take This to Your Grave’ in 2003. They went multi-platinum with their 2005 album release “From Under the Cork Tree’ and ‘Infinity on High’ in 2007.
The band was last here in 2007 to a sold out concert. Prior to their return next year, the band will play at sold out venues in US and Japan. Nothing beats Fall Out Boy live and kicking on stage so don’t miss out when tickets go on sale!

In this enchanting fairytale ballet that is set in a joyous Christmas’s eve occasion, The Nutcracker is a light-hearted tale of adventure and courage featuring Clara and her adventures after she receives a beautifully-crafted nutcracker doll from Dr Drosselmeyer.
At the stroke of midnight, the Nutcracker doll comes alive and comes to her rescue when her room is invaded by an army of rats. The King Rat is defeated by the Nutcracker Doll, and The Nutcracker is transformed into a Prince. The Nutcracker Prince then treats Clara to a magical journey through the Kingdom of Sweets, where she is enchanted with sights of Spain, France, Istanbul, Russia, China and Holland and later greeted by the Snow Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
With an alternating cast of 200 dancers dressed in colourful costumes, fascinating projections, an animated backdrop and stage sets for the enthralling scenes of Land of Snow, Kingdom of Sweets, and more, this mega-production promises to be a spectacular Christmas treat for the entire family.
San Diego-based Angels and Airwaves will engage with their fans for the first time in Singapore on the 7th December, and here is where their South East Asian adventure begins.
Also known as “AVA”, the alternative rock group consists of frontman and former Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge, guitarist David Kennedy, drummer Atom Willard, and bassist Matt Wachter.
Since AVA released their first album, ‘We Dont Need to Whisper’ in 2006, which went to #4 on the Billboard 200 and ‘I-Empire’ in 2007, the band’s schedule has been anything but dull. They played to packed venues in the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and headlined the 2008 Vans Warped, a touring music and extreme sports festival. AVA has also recently concluded their U.S tour with Los Angeles band, Weezer.
Here is a band with a mission and their call to arms in December, for all AVA supporters to rise and gather as a unified voice in alternative music.
From Singapore, the adventure will continue in Jakarta and Bali before the band starts recording their third album in January 2009.
